PPG announced its inclusion in Newsweek’s list of Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2024 for its high evaluations in customer, investor and employee trust. The Most Trustworthy Companies in America list uses a holistic approach to identify trusted companies that are performing exceptionally well on a national level. Newsweek partners with market researcher Statista to conduct an independent survey sample of roughly 25,000 U.S. residents, who evaluate companies based on these three areas of trust. Survey participants use social listening to rank companies according to positive, negative or neutral media sentiment. “This recognition reinforces PPG’s reputation as a trusted company that values its customers, employees and investors,” said Bryan Iams, PPG vice president and chief communications officer. “We pride ourselves in not only producing high-quality products and services for our customers, but also providing our global network of more than 50,000 employees with safe, healthy, and fulfilling work environments. We hold ourselves to high ethical standards, so this ranking affirms our ongoing commitment to our stakeholders and focus on advancing our purpose to protect and beautify the world.” This year’s list marks Newsweek and Statista’s third annual ranking of companies based on business practices and stakeholder relationships. The 2024 ranking evaluates a pool of 97,000 companies headquartered in the U.S. across 23 industries with revenues exceeding $500 million. Click here to view the 2024 rankings.
